Our Apostolic Journey
In 2018, Suffragan Bishop Jonas Grice from Jefferson City, Missouri was
led to spread the gospel to the St. Louis area. Upon securing a location, Elder Larry Jordan became the pastor, and the church was started with three members under his leadership. Unfortunately, in late 2021, Elder Jordan unexpectedly passed away and Elder Raymond Wimley was asked to step in and assume the pastorship. Together with his wife, Elect Lady Regina Wimley, they relocated to the St. Louis area to continue the vision. The church was renamed the Apostolic Temple of Holiness and is currently located at 4547 Gravois Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri.
At an early age, Elder Raymond Wimley accepted his call into the ministry, where he was a faithful and willing servant for the Lord, filling many roles including Board member, Deacon, Minister, Youth Pastor and lead drummer / musician. As the Lord began to lead him to more full-time work in the ministry according to Mark 15:16 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”, Raymond Wimley was later ordained in 2003 as an Elder under the leadership of the late Presiding Bishop Emeritus Jeremiah Reed.

Elect Lady Wimley has been a faithful member in the church, serving in several roles such as Sunday School Administrator and Alter Worker. She received her ministers license in 2023 and continues to help spread the gospel alongside her husband.

The Apostolic Temple of Holiness church is founded upon bible-based principles and built upon the foundational scriptures found in Acts 2:36-42 to continue to operate in the “Apostle’s Doctrine”. We believe in the oneness of God, and the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. We are a part of the Apostolic Faith Fellowship Organization, Inc. headquartered in Sioux, City, Iowa.
